Who We Are

Jonathan and I met right there on the front porch. We fell in love. Ten years later we live on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica were we are creating off-grid solar powered homes inside of our sustainable communities. We are raising our son and daughter bilingually here in Costa Rica and meanwhile teaching them to swim and surf and respect nature and the environment. We return to vermont semi-anually and leave the caretaking to our friends and neighbors, Rio and Raven Mueller, who live close by. We hope that our former home makes a great vacation spot for you and the ones you love.

As we say in Costa Rica, Pura Vida  ( pure life) !

Vermont Country Lodge is located just 10 minutes from interstate 91 on a nice rolling country road. We are just minutes to the center of Springfield and Springfield Hosptial.  We are just 15 minutes from Chester Village and Bellows Falls.
