• One bathroom downstairs has a shower, sorry no bathtub.

 Suitability and other information

We are a family friendly rental!  We even have basic baby gear, highchair, infant tub, gate, toys, books and more available upon request.

 We are a pet friendly rental! We understand the need to bring a beloved part of the family on vacation, and we have the best yard for that. We do, however, like to know size and what type of four legged friends are coming, and we reserve the right not to allow animals. 

We use a dyson vaccuum cleaner with hepa- filter between all rentals and provide hypo-allergenic covers for the pillows. 

For the handicap and elderly... There are three steps rising into the home from both entrances. Both sets of steps are stone and somewhat uneven in nature. However, once inside, the downstairs bedroom is close to the bathroom.

We strive to provide all the necessary amenities to our guest.  However, to keep cleaning costs down, and to avoid charging a mandatory cleaning fee, we do not provide bed linens and towels unless it is requested. We will supply bed linens and towels for a washing fee based on the number of guests. Pillows and Blankets are always included.

At this time we do not provide washer and dryer use.  We hope to install an accessable washer and dryer unit in the future. We do recommend  the laudromat in Springfield Plaza ( directions in welcome packet ) .They provide washing, drying and folding by the pound as well as coin opp machines.  Hey, it's your vacation, have someone else do the laundry!

The driveway to Vermont Country Lodge is about 1/2 mile long and is not paved. Although we do our best to keep it plowed and sanded, Four wheel drive is highly recommended for winter renters.
