 Drive up the country road, over the roaring gorge of the Williams River, past farms and hillsides. Turn onto the long driveway, pass the sparkling pond. The air is fresh, the view is beautiful, and the house is comfortable. You have arrived.

Let the kids run off their energy in the huge, mowed yard, while you read that novel in the hammock or go fishing in the pond. Take a nice nature hike, cool off in the pond, throw dinner on the grill, then build a campfire, roast some marshmallows, look up at the stars.

No kids? Grab a bottle of wine and some nice aged vermont cheddar, sit in the adirondack chairs, watch while hummingbirds come to the gardens and wait for deer to emerge from the forest. Cook a romantic meal in the well equipped kitchen, then snuggle up to a fire in the stone fireplace.

Inside, with classic and antique furnishings, you'll feel right at home surrounded by the stone and wood elements, while the art stimulates your mind and spirit. This house is all that it should be inside, and more than you can imagine outside, with nature and opportunity abundant.

 This hillside home  has two bedrooms plus a loft, sleeping 6-8 guests.  Enjoy wi-fi access, digital sattelite tv,  fully equipped kitchen, and a calming view of our 1 acre trout filled pond.

~This is a truly special property. Once you settle yourself onto the back porch it feels like you are miles away. The view is fantastic, and the sounds of nature awe inspiring. Peaceful. Special. We hope to return next summer - don't steal our week!
